1 pound ground turkey
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 can brown beans
2 tsp chili powder (https://amzn.to/4clzOIR)
1 tsp garlic seasoning (https://amzn.to/4cAAHgT)
1 tsp smoky maple seasoning (https://amzn.to/3VErrT1)
1/2 tsp pepper
salt to taste
Brown the ground turkey in a large saucepan (https://amzn.to/3KG3rIX). Add the three cans of beans and tomatoes. Add the seasonings. Heat through and let simmer for an hour or so to let the flavors blend. For spicier chili add more of the seasonings. This recipe is not spicy as my little grandbaby was also eating it!!
Super easy recipe that freezes well. Serve with cornbread and have chili dogs tomorrow with the leftovers!! If you prefer, ground beef can be used. I use ground turkey or chicken for most everything because it is cheaper in our grocery store and once you add flavoring, you can't tell if it is beef of turkey!!!
