Sweet and sour chicken

2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 chicken breasts
1/2 chopped onion
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp lemon juice (https://amzn.to/3RCmyaA)
2 tbsp soy sauce (https://amzn.to/4eC0ruK)
2 tbsp sugar
pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch (https://amzn.to/3RDRw28)
In a large frying pan (https://amzn.to/3XAtAk1) heat the oil. Add the chicken and cook.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl (https://amzn.to/3zeLxKU), combine onion, ketchup, lemon juice, soy sauce, sugar, pepper, and 1/2 cup water,
Pour sauce over cooked chicken and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Add cornstarch to 1/4 cup cold water and mix. add cornstarch to chicken and bring to a boil. Once thickened it is ready to eat. It goes well over rice or noodles. I use rice so I have leftover and I can make fried rice one or two days later!!!
