Scalloped potatoes with cheese

6 medium potatoes

2 tbsp margarine

2 tbsp flour

1 1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 slices swiss cheese


Peel and slice the potatoes thinly. Arrange then in an 8 x 8 pan (https://amzn.to/4bQtrxh) placing slices of swiss cheese between each layer.


In a saucepan (https://amzn.to/4ee1S2t), melt the margarine over medium heat. Stir in the flour until it turns into a paste. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly, until a thick white sauce forms. Remove from heat and add the shredded cheese. Stir until melted and then pour over the potatoes.


Bake at 350 for approximately 1 hour until potatoes are cooked and it is browned on the top.
