No Bake Chocolate Pie

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (https://amzn.to/3XScpJf)

1/4 cup melted margarine

1/2 cup cocoa (https://amzn.to/3TXFhP3)

1 1/8 cup sugar

1/3 cup cornstarch (https://amzn.to/47XtWVh)

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups half and half

2 tsp vanilla (https://amzn.to/3Y1YuRc)

2 tbls margarine

1/4 cup chocolate chips (https://amzn.to/4gTBBry)

whipped cream for topping


Mix together the graham crumbs and margarine and press into a pie plate (https://amzn.to/3TZRvqx). Place in the fridge to set while making the filling.


In a medium saucepan (https://amzn.to/4evpfEB) , mix cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Whisk together well. Gradually add the milk and half and half to the dry ingredients in the saucepan. Whisk until smooth and blended. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly.


Bring mixture to a boil and let boil for 1 minute then remove from heat.


Add margarine, vanilla, and chocolate chips. Whisk until melted. Pour into the prepared crust, cover with plastic wrap (so no skin forms) and place back in the fridge to cool. This will be ready to eat in about 3 hours. Top with whipped topping and enjoy!!
