No Bake Caramel Oatmeal Cookies

2 cups sugar

3/4 cup margarine

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1 package instant butterscotch pudding mix

1 tsp vanilla (https://amzn.to/4e4kodb)

1/8 tsp salt

3/4 cup chocolate chips (https://amzn.to/4ecNo2n)

1/2 cup skor toffee bits

In a medium saucepan (https://amzn.to/3zxHLwH) , bring sugar, margarine, evaporated milk, vanilla, and salt to a boil stirring constantly. Boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add the oats and the pudding mix. Let cool for a few minutes and then add the chocolate chips and skor bits. Do not over stir or the chocolate chips will completely melt.
