2 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 cup of water

Fill a 6 quart pot 2/3 full of water. Add a teaspoon of salt and bring to a boil.

While waiting for the water to boil get the dough ready. It's really very simple!! Just add all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well. The dough should be sticky and hold together when pulled up with the fork.

Cut the dough into the boiling water. Stir often so they don't stick to the bottom of the pot. You can make the pieces as big or as small as you would like. I like mine to be fairly big. Boil for 10 minutes. The knoeple will float to the top of the pot. Drain in a colander.

Place a 12 inch frying pan on the stove over medium high heat. melt a tablespoon of butter in the pan. Once melted, add the knoepfle. Fry for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

You can eat them as is or add some grated cheese on top. They are also great as a base for stew instead of noodles or rice.

I would suggest getting a 6 quart saucepan (https://a.co/d/0RTqkVl) as most of my recipes are large so that some can be frozen and used at a later date when you don't have time to to cook or you just want more time to spend with the family! Also, the 12 inch frying pan (https://a.co/d/83pXojU) will become your favorite in the kitchen!!
