Green Bean Casserole

1 bag frozen green beans

2 cups shredded cheese

2 tbsp margarine

2 tbsp flour

3/4 cup milk

1 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cups crumbled crackers (like Ritz)


Place the green beans in a large bowl. Set aside.

Melt the margarine in a medium saucepan (https://amzn.to/4hWf1OV) . Add the flour and cook on medium heat for 1 minute. Slowly add the milk stirring constantly and cook for about 4-5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and add the sour cream. Pour over the green beans and add the grated cheese. Mix well. Put the green bean mixture into a greased casserole dish (https://amzn.to/4aUn24y) and top with crumbled crackers. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the beans are cooked to your liking. Enjoy!!
