Gingerbread Loaf

2 cups flour

1 tbsp ginger powder (https://amzn.to/4enc5Jj)
1 tsp nutmeg (https://amzn.to/3XoMSr2)
1/2 tsp allspice (https://amzn.to/3XBTnbh)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup brown sugar (https://amzn.to/3AWtsCm)
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup molasses
1 tsp vanilla (https://amzn.to/3B1l1FI)
1 cup buttermilk
In medium bowl (https://amzn.to/3Tlr6mU), mix together the flour, baking soda, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add the molasses and vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time mixing between additions.
Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Stir until just blended after each addition.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan (https://amzn.to/3XEnIG3) and bake at 350 for 40 - 50 minutes.
This loaf goes well with a cookie butter topping! (recipe to come)
