4 tsp ground ginger (https://amzn.to/3W1KohF)

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp cinnamon (https://amzn.to/3LoBLZz)

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ground allspice (https://amzn.to/3Ljr2Qb)

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup margarine

1 egg

1/4 cup molasses (https://amzn.to/3VZUz67)

Mix together flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and allspice in a medium bowl (https://amzn.to/4bAIZnW).

Beat sugar and margarine with an electric mixer (https://amzn.to/4bF2Zps) in a large bowl until smooth and creamy, beat in the egg and molasses. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just blended.

Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet (https://amzn.to/466tMtx) about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes until top is cracked.

Cool and enjoy.

  • You can add some chopped up crystalized ginger(https://amzn.to/3zBaGQi) to the cookies if you like as a last step after blending the flour into the margarine mixture.
