Egg in a Hole

2 slices of bread

2 eggs

margarine


Butter one side of each slice of bread and cut a hole in the center. Heat a 12 inch frying pan (https://amzn.to/3Y9RC5D). Place bread, buttered side down, in the frying pan and melt a small amount of margarine in the hole. Crack the egg into the hole lifting up the sides of the bread slightly to let the egg spread under the bread. Add the 'holes' to the frying pan as well so they can toast. Once browned, about a minute and a half, melt some margarine in the frying pan and flip the bread. Fry until the egg is cooked to your desired consistency.


Easiest breakfast and you get your egg and toast in one step!!!! I made this all of the time for my kids (except the one who didn't like eggs!). Serve with ketchup if desired.
