Creamy pasta with bacon

1 pound uncooked pasta

1/2 package of bacon cooked crisply and crumbled

1 tbsp margarine

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups milk

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 package of cream cheese, softened

1 tsp garlic seasoning (https://amzn.to/3ZQug5S)

1/2 tsp pepper (https://amzn.to/3UjY2wD)

1 tsp steak spice (recipe on this site)

2 cups grated cheese (your choice, but I use marble cheese)


Place the bacon on a cookie sheet (https://amzn.to/4gKyKB8) and bake at 350 until crisp. Let cool and crumble into small pieces.

Place the pasta in a pot (https://amzn.to/4eurvff) of boiling, salted water and cook until al dente. Drain.

While the bacon and pasta are cooking, cook the onion and garlic in the margarine in a large frying pan (https://amzn.to/4eRGQ9u). Reduce the heat. Add the cream cheese, milk, cream of chicken soup, and spices. Mix until all blended together. Toss in the pasta and grated cheese. Top with the bacon pieces and enjoy!!


I make this meal after we had a breakfast using bacon. I cook extra bacon and hide some for dinner!! Then the bacon is ready ahead of time and just needs to be added to warm it up.
