I have applesauce in my freezer from my asian apple trees. The sauce is a little thinner because the asian apples are juicier, but it works fine. You can use any applesauce.
You can add raisins (https://amzn.to/3RSHOZP), walnuts (https://amzn.to/3XQh54a), pecans (https://amzn.to/4cLrW3v), or whatever you would like to the batter. Once it is all mixed together, gently fold in any add-ons.
You have to try the Yupik products linked on my site (chocolate chips, cinnamon, cocoa, nuts, etc.). They are the best!! Also, if you order from my link, I get a few cents to add to my grandson's college fund!
