3 apples, peeled and sliced thinly
1/4 cup brown sugar (https://amzn.to/3zD1uuX)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon (https://amzn.to/3XYRQfy)
1/4 tsp nutmeg (https://amzn.to/3zyZ7cy)
Topping:
2 cups quick oats (https://amzn.to/3TLK99X)
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla (https://amzn.to/3Y0Yhil)
1/2 cup margarine, melted
Mix the sliced apples with the brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In a large bowl (https://amzn.to/3ZLNQ38) combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Mix well. Then add the margarine, and vanilla. Blend it together with your hands until combined.
Spread a thin layer of the oat mixture on the bottom of a greased 8 x 8 pan (https://amzn.to/3ZLNQ38). Place the apples over the oat layer and top with the rest of the oat mixture. Bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes or until the apples are soft and the crumble is slightly browned.
Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, or make a batch of caramel sauce (recipe on this site) to drizzle on top!!!
